Hometown Line is free, and it stays free. The Supporter extras below are free for everyone this season too: the fuller write-ups, Your Friday, Season trajectory and Season Outlook. None of them changes the game: same picks, same units, same leaderboard for everybody.

What you get today

  • The write-up on every game, told like a friend would

    Every game page carries the arithmetic behind the number for everyone. Supporters read the same facts as a proper write-up, written every Saturday morning from the site's own record: teams and numbers only, never a player, never a guess.

  • Your Friday, pinned to the top of the scoreboard

    Your school's game and your leagues' games first, with the model's line beside the score coming in from the stands, refreshing every fifteen seconds while the night is on.

  • The whole season, read ahead

    The board covers this week and next, free for everyone. Season Outlook reads the rest: every game still to come on your school's schedule with the model's win chance and projected margin, week by week. It is for reading ahead only; nothing in it can be picked. Picks on those games open for everyone on the same day, when their week comes up.

  • Your team's season, drawn as one line

    Watch the rating climb and dip week by week, and see every Friday's result next to what the model expected. The story of the season on every team page, not just the record.

What stays the same

Supporting keeps the lights on, not the scoreboard. The game is the same for everyone: same picks, same units, same leaderboard, free. Supporters simply get more ways to follow their town.

We mean that literally: a test in the code checks that nothing which prices a game, grades a pick or ranks a table can even see who is a Supporter. The compliance page has the details if you like that sort of thing.
