Coming soon
Wyoming is coming to Hometown Line
You’re in the right place, and the whole site is open to you. We only show scores a state’s association lets us read and credit, and Wyoming’s aren’t readable yet. Here’s how Buffalo gets on, and how to play in the meantime.
Play this Friday anyway
Every game on the board is open to you, in any state. Call the week’s biggest games, or follow a state next door.
Getting Buffalo on the site
Wyoming’s scores aren’t on the site yet. The WHSAA publishes its master schedule as a PDF, which we can read; scores sit with a vendor (DragonFly) that turns automated readers away. We’ve written to Wyoming High School Activities Association asking to show them, credited to it, and we’re waiting on its answer.
Coach or athletic director? You don’t have to wait on the association: put Buffalo’s season on the site yourself through the Team Desk, in about ten minutes.

Parents, alumni, the bleachers: everyone picks Buffalo’s games and the schools around them, and Saturday’s table settles who knows best. Free, about a minute, one link to the group chat.

What is on record
- Wherereal
- Wyoming
- A real programme in a real place.
- Sizereal
- a large school
- Roughly 1,300-2,224 students. A band, not a figure — the exact number is not something this project knows.
- Classificationa label
- Class 2A
- How its own state labels that size. Ladders differ between states, so this is for display; the model uses the size band.
- Groupingthis site's
- Region 2 (WY)
- This site's grouping, built by region so travel and rivalry look plausible. It is not the state association's alignment and will not match a real bracket.
The programme
- Notable alumni
- 1 in all, 1 of them in football
- Counted from the school’s own article, which lists people notable enough to have been written up. A programme with none has not produced none.
Everything above comes from Buffalo’s own article — except the few lines that name a different one — and is real. Hometown Line also runs a scoring model over Wyoming high school football. Every prediction it makes is the model’s own. Where Wyoming publishes a schedule the site may read, the games ahead are that schedule; where it does not, the fixtures ahead are generated so the model has something to predict. A result is shown only where its source is named.
