Tigard High School football

Tigard is one of the largest schools in Oregon.

Coming soon

Oregon is coming to Hometown Line

You’re in the right place, and the whole site is open to you. We only show scores a state’s association lets us read and credit, and Oregon’s aren’t readable yet. Here’s how Tigard gets on, and how to play in the meantime.

Play this Friday anyway

Every game on the board is open to you, in any state. Call the week’s biggest games, or follow a state next door.

Getting Tigard on the site

Oregon isn’t published yet. The OSAA's site refuses automated readers at the door, so we have not read it.

In the meantime, a coach, athletic director or team manager can put a school’s season on the site through the Team Desk, and the letter below still asks them to publish.

Ask them

Write to Oregon School Activities Association or your school's athletic director. Address it to the association’s office or your athletic director — the contact page on their site has it.

Subject: Schedules and scores for Oregon high-school football

Dear Oregon School Activities Association,

I am a fan of Tigard. I follow the season on Hometown Line (hometownline.com), a free game of skill and prediction for high-school football. There is no money in it: readers predict results and are scored on how well they read the games.

Oregon is not on the site yet because the schedules and scores are published in a way that does not allow another site to read them. I am writing to ask that Oregon School Activities Association allow Hometown Line to read the schedules and scores it already publishes, or publish them as a feed. The site reads only what it is allowed to, identifies itself, and credits Oregon School Activities Association on every game.

Thank you for considering it.

Yours sincerely,
A supporter of Tigard

Named in Tualatin's article. A rivalry is mutual, but only one of the two articles usually says so.

Counted from the school’s own article, which lists people notable enough to have been written up. A programme with none has not produced none.

Everything above comes from Tigard’s own article — except the few lines that name a different one — and is real. Hometown Line also runs a scoring model over Oregon high school football. Every prediction it makes is the model’s own. Where Oregon publishes a schedule the site may read, the games ahead are that schedule; where it does not, the fixtures ahead are generated so the model has something to predict. A result is shown only where its source is named.
