Ohio is coming to Hometown Line
You’re in the right place, and the whole site is open to you. We only show scores a state’s association lets us read and credit, and Ohio’s aren’t readable yet. Here’s how St. Xavier gets on, and how to play in the meantime.

Getting St. Xavier on the site
Ohio’s scores aren’t on the site yet. The OHSAA publishes no game results; the best source is one enthusiast's site and we have asked him. We’ve written to Ohio High School Athletic Association asking to show them, credited to it, and we’re waiting on its answer.
Coach or athletic director? You don’t have to wait on the association: put St. Xavier’s season on the site yourself through the Team Desk, in about ten minutes.

Start a St. Xavier leagueSt. Xavier is the oldest high school in the Cincinnati area and one of the oldest in the nation. It grew out of the Athenaeum, which opened in 1831 in downtown Cincinnati. From 1869 to 1934, the high school program formed the lower division of St. Xavier College, now Xavier University.

Everything above comes from St. Xavier’s own article — except the few lines that name a different one — and is real. Hometown Line also runs a scoring model over Ohio high school football. Every prediction it makes is the model’s own. Where Ohio publishes a schedule the site may read, the games ahead are that schedule; where it does not, the fixtures ahead are generated so the model has something to predict. A result is shown only where its source is named.
