Coming soon
Louisiana is coming to Hometown Line
You’re in the right place, and the whole site is open to you. We only show scores a state’s association lets us read and credit, and Louisiana’s aren’t readable yet. Here’s how St. Augustine gets on, and how to play in the meantime.
Play this Friday anyway
Every game on the board is open to you, in any state. Call the week’s biggest games, or follow a state next door.
Getting St. Augustine on the site
Louisiana isn’t published yet. The LHSAA's football site asks every automated reader to stay out, and its terms allow personal viewing only, so we have not read it.
In the meantime, a coach, athletic director or team manager can put a school’s season on the site through the Team Desk, and the letter below still asks them to publish.
Ask them
Write to Louisiana High School Athletic Association or your school's athletic director. Address it to the association’s office or your athletic director — the contact page on their site has it.

Subject: Schedules and scores for Louisiana high-school football
Dear Louisiana High School Athletic Association, I am a fan of St. Augustine. I follow the season on Hometown Line (hometownline.com), a free game of skill and prediction for high-school football. There is no money in it: readers predict results and are scored on how well they read the games. Louisiana is not on the site yet because the schedules and scores are published in a way that does not allow another site to read them. I am writing to ask that Louisiana High School Athletic Association allow Hometown Line to read the schedules and scores it already publishes, or publish them as a feed. The site reads only what it is allowed to, identifies itself, and credits Louisiana High School Athletic Association on every game. Thank you for considering it. Yours sincerely, A supporter of St. Augustine

Start a St. Augustine leagueThe famed "Marching 100" was the first African-American high school band to march in the Rex parade on Mardi Gras Day, in 1967. The "Marching 100" also played for Pope John Paul II in 1987 and for eight U.S. Presidents.

Everything above comes from St. Augustine’s own article — except the few lines that name a different one — and is real. Hometown Line also runs a scoring model over Louisiana high school football. Every prediction it makes is the model’s own. Where Louisiana publishes a schedule the site may read, the games ahead are that schedule; where it does not, the fixtures ahead are generated so the model has something to predict. A result is shown only where its source is named.
