St. Mark's High School football

St. Mark's plays high school football in Delaware.

Coming soon

Delaware is coming to Hometown Line

You’re in the right place, and the whole site is open to you. We only show scores a state’s association lets us read and credit, and Delaware’s aren’t readable yet. Here’s how St. Mark's gets on, and how to play in the meantime.

Play this Friday anyway

Every game on the board is open to you, in any state. Call the week’s biggest games, or follow a state next door.

Getting St. Mark's on the site

Delaware isn’t published yet. The DIAA's site refuses automated readers at the door, so we have not read it.

In the meantime, a coach, athletic director or team manager can put a school’s season on the site through the Team Desk, and the letter below still asks them to publish.

Ask them

Write to Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association or your school's athletic director. Address it to the association’s office or your athletic director — the contact page on their site has it.

Subject: Schedules and scores for Delaware high-school football

Dear Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association,

I am a fan of St. Mark's. I follow the season on Hometown Line (hometownline.com), a free game of skill and prediction for high-school football. There is no money in it: readers predict results and are scored on how well they read the games.

Delaware is not on the site yet because the schedules and scores are published in a way that does not allow another site to read them. I am writing to ask that Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association allow Hometown Line to read the schedules and scores it already publishes, or publish them as a feed. The site reads only what it is allowed to, identifies itself, and credits Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association on every game.

Thank you for considering it.

Yours sincerely,
A supporter of St. Mark's

The programme

Rival
Salesianum
Named in Salesianum's article. A rivalry is mutual, but only one of the two articles usually says so.
Notable alumni
3 in all, 1 of them in football
Counted from the school’s own article, which lists people notable enough to have been written up. A programme with none has not produced none.

Everything above comes from St. Mark's’s own article — except the few lines that name a different one — and is real. Hometown Line also runs a scoring model over Delaware high school football. Every prediction it makes is the model’s own. Where Delaware publishes a schedule the site may read, the games ahead are that schedule; where it does not, the fixtures ahead are generated so the model has something to predict. A result is shown only where its source is named.
